What Employees Want Employers to Do About COVID Vaccines


Fifty-seven percent of employees say employers should offer incentives to encourage vaccinations, such as money, paid time off, and gift cards. Fifty-two percent say employers should mandate vaccines, according to a survey of 1,006 respondents by Eagle Hill Consulting. Also, 42% say employers should wait to reopen.

Employees want their employers to play an active role in COVID-19 precautions even after a vaccine is widely available. They say their organization should require or encourage employees to:

  • 89% Social distance

  • 87% Wear masks

  • 81% Have their temperature checked

  • 71% Wear personal protective equipment

  • 69% Get regular COVID-19 tests
