Our #1 core value at HRBC Insurance is to always do the right thing. And the right thing to do at this time is continue providing our clients with excellent service, but at a safe distance, by using technology to stay connected. The measures in place to contain and manage the spread of COVID-19 have taken its toll on everyone. Seniors – even more than the general population – are at a huge disadvantage. They are most at risk of negative outcomes if the virus is contracted, and most in need of many healthcare services.
What Do You Need Help With?
We, at HRBC Insurance, share an emphasis of concern and caution as to not spread COVID-19 to our beloved seniors. To help play our part, we have come up with a few ways to continue educating our new and existing clients about their Medicare insurance options, how to enroll into Medicare, and our customer service element which goes as far as connecting them with local help to better overcome this pandemic. Below you will find 4 ways that HRBC can continue to provide excellent service, but at a safe distance, by using technology.
1. Apply for Medicare Online
With many of the social security offices closing their doors, applying for Medicare may seem a bit more difficult. Wait times have always been rather lengthy, both in person and on the phone. But with the recent office closures and mandates of self-quarantines, we can assume the hold time on the phone will increase exponentially. As a solution, we would like to emphasize that we are happy to assist with enrolling into Medicare via their online resources with the following methods:
Zoom (Video) call
We strongly recommend electing to schedule a Zoom (virtual in-home appointment) call with us. With Zoom, we can share our screen to provide visual explanations of the process as well as have an active face-to-face conversation during this time that in-person contact is strongly discouraged. For more details on virtual in-home appointments, please click the button below.
Whichever method is most comfortable for you, we are here to support you through your entire transition through Medicare.
2. Attend a Virtual Medicare Seminars
Many seniors are accustomed to attending in-person seminars to get information and support for Medicare. By using services such as Facebook Live and YouTube Live, we aim to provide the same quality presentation and information available from the comfort and security of your home. We have made it possible to interact with questions and comments – just like an in-person seminar – by participating through our webinar link.
Some of the topics we will cover:
What Medicare covers and what it doesn’t cover
How Medicare works and what it costs
Which parts of Medicare you may need (A,B,C,D)
When and how to enroll into Medicare to avoid penalties
